Jalandhar, July 7(STN)- In order to provide employment opportunities to the youth, a placement camp was organized by the District Employment and Business Bureau on Friday in its office, in which 36 candidates were selected for employment.
Giving more information related to this, Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Ranjit Kaur said that in the placement camp HDF. C. Bank, Team Lease, L.I. C, Narayani Herbal, Vision Care and Paytm from the companies and 65 candidates appeared out of which 36 candidates were selected for placement on the spot.
He said that under the leadership of the district administration, the District Employment and Business Bureau organizes such placement camps from time to time to help the youth in getting employment so that they can be made financially self-dependent. Appealing to the youth to actively participate in such placement camps, he said that for more employment opportunities, the youth can contact the Bureau’s office at the District Administrative Complex or contact the office’s helpline number 90569- 20100.
