Jalandhar, August 29(STN)– Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Tuesday said that the district administration was continually making efforts to resolve the difficulties faced by the Sports and Rubber Industry in the district.
Sarangal, who was chairing a meeting with Sports and Rubber Industrialists, said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was committed to addressing their issues and a congenial atmosphere was being ensured to them. He said that the government was set to organize a ‘Government-industrialists Meet’ in which CM will listen to their issues.
In the meeting, the industrialists demanded the establishment of a PPDC MSME-Extension center, Common Facility Centre, District Testing Lab for BIS Certification, and others following which the Deputy Commissioner directed the officials of various departments to accord top priority in meeting their demands and said that the district administration will also send a report to the state government in this regard.
Sarangal also asked the director of the Jalandhar Central Institute of Hand Tools to hold a meeting with Ludhiana Central Tool Room regarding starting the work of MSME Extension Centre at the earliest.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included industrialists and officials of various departments.
