Jalandhar, 30 July(STN): Along with the announcement of the dates of the famous Shri Siddh Baba Sodhal mela, the appointment of the Pradhan has also been announced. Pakanj Chadda, the nephew of the head of the temple, Agya Pal Chadda, was chosen as the head. Baba’s Sodhal mela was announced on 28th September.
Meeting regarding the preparations for Shri Siddh Baba Sodhal Mela, the elections of Shri Siddh Baba Sodhal Sudhar Sabha (Regd.) were held today. Congress leaders Salil Bahri, Manoj Bahri, Chandan Grewal, Ashwani Narula, Naval Kamboj, Amarjit Singh Amri, Bunty Neelkanth, Bantu Sabharwal, Rajesh Bhatti, Manoj Nanha were present on this occasion.
On the other hand, MP Sushil Rinku performed the ceremony of hoisting the flag and inaugurated the langar set up for the gathering for Sadh Sangat. During this, Pankaj Chadha said that in the coming days, the arrangements for the fair would be done after meeting the officials of the district administration and the municipal corporation.
