Central government issued guidelines for rural areas and tribal areas, asked to strengthen health infrastructure

The Ministry of Health has issued a guideline regarding prevention and management of Kovid-19 in urban, rural and tribal areas.

New Delhi: 16, May (STN) Corona infection is now increasing in cities as well as rural and tribal areas. In view of this, the Ministry of Health said, there is a need to strengthen the primary level health care infrastructure in urban, rural and tribal areas so that people can be provided with the necessary health related services.

Cases of corona infection are continuously increasing in many states of the country. A large number of cases of Kovid are coming from urban areas. However, corona infection has started increasing in cities as well as in rural and tribal areas. The Health Ministry said, in view of this, the health care infrastructure of primary level needs to be strengthened in urban, rural and tribal areas so that people can be provided with the necessary health related services.

The Ministry of Health has issued guidelines regarding the prevention and management of Kovid-19 in urban, rural and tribal areas. The guidelines focus on health infrastructure planning, surveillance, screening, home and community-based isolation of management of Kovid at the village level.
