Child Welfare Council to organise District level painting competition on 3rd October

Jalandhar, September 18(STN)– Under the national painting competition-2023, the district child welfare council is organizing a district level painting competition on October 3 at the local Red Cross Bhawan.

Inviting the children with special needs and school students to actively participate in the district level painting competition, Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said that in these competitions school students and children with special needs, whose age is 5 to 18 years, can participate.

He said that competition for school students will be conducted in two different age groups, 5-9 years and 10-16 years. Similarly, competitions for children with special needs will also be held in two different age groups, in which students in the age group of 5-10 years and 11 to 18 years are eligible to participate.

While telling about the competition, DC Vishesh Sarangal said that there will be different subjects of painting for different groups. He said that paintings will be made on the spot on different subjects and two hours time will be given to make the painting. He also informed that only two children per group from each school can participate. Inviting the students to participate more and more in the competitions, the Deputy Commissioner said that the entry can be made before September 29, 2023 at the office of the District Child Welfare Council, Red Cross Bhawan, Lajpat Nagar, Jalandhar to participate in the painting competitions.
