Jalandhar, October 17(STN): Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Tuesday directed the officials of various departments to make elaborate arrangements for Indian Army Recruitment rally scheduled to be held at Football ground in Jalandhar Cantonment from December 12 to 23.
The rally is being held for aspirants belonging to Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Tarn Taran.
Sarangal directed concerned departments to make adequate security arrangements and other necessary requirements to facilitate the aspirants. He said that the arrangements of cleanliness, drinking water, temporary toilets, seating, fire tenders, food, medical, uninterrupted power supply, power genset and others must be made timely for smooth holding of the rally. He also asked police department to ensure proper security and traffic management so that no one face any kind of issue. Further, the officials were also asked to ensure pick-up facility for aspirants from bus stand and railway station to rally venue.
