Jalandhar, August 4(STN)– Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Friday directed the revenue officials to speed up the process of stamp duty recovery for enhancing the income of the Punjab government.
Presiding over a meeting with officials of the department, Sarangal asked them to dispose of the cases pending in the revenue courts. He said that the cases of partition of mutually agreed land should be settled on priority basis.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the progress of mutation, revenue court management system, Jamabandi and etc. Earlier, Sarangal detailed the progress of various programs to Financial Commissioner Revenue.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included Assistant Commissioner Gursimranjeet Singh, District Revenue Officer Arvind Parkash and others.
