Distributed 335 quintal maize pickle for cattle and dry ration kits to 100 families

Jalandhar, July 17(STN)– A large part of Punjab is currently submerged in water. The founder of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, known as God’s Angel all over the world, Dr. S.P. Singh came forward to help the victims during the massive flood that hit dozens of villages due to the breach of Dhusi dam near Giddarpindi in Jalandhar district. 335 quintal fodder sent by Oberoi and dry ration kits were distributed to 100 families.

Giving information in this regard, Dr. Oberoi said that due to the breach of the Giddarpindi dam, many villages in the area have come under its affect. Along with the destruction of the paddy crop, the fodder for the animals has also been destroyed. He said that considering the survey done by his Tarn Taran team and the demand of animal feed from the area, he sent 335 quintals of corn pickle and 100 dry ration kits to village Budewal, Bagiyan Khurd, Hayatewala through his team. Ration kits have been distributed to the needy families of Khurla Pur, Kanniyan, Gidderpindi, Gatta Mundi Kasu, Nasirewal, Kotha, Kang Nasirewal, Darewal, Nal and other flood affected villages of Jalandhar district.

Significantly, Dr. Oberoi has also assured that whatever other items will be needed, they will also be sent.
On this occasion, social workers Gurnam Singh and Master Rakesh Kumar thanked Dr. Oberoi and said that even during the 2019 floods, aid was sent by the Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust. This time also Dr. for the flood affected families of Jalandhar district. We all the residents of the area are thankful to Oberoi for the extensive support extended to him.
