Jalandhar 29 June (STN)- The Muslim community of Jalandhar celebrated festival of Eid-ul-Adha by hugging each other in the Idgah on Gulab Devi Road in Jalandhar. On this occasion, Aam Aadmi Party’s cabinet minister Balkar Singh and MP Sushil Kumar Rinku participated in Idgah and congratulated the entire Muslim community on this day.
Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Feast of the Sacrifice or Bakrid, is one of the most important Islamic festivals celebrated worldwide. It marks the end of the annual Hajj pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca and is known to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s decision to sacrifice his son.
