Tokyo: August 3 (STN) Indian para athletes continue to perform vigorously at the Tokyo Paralympics. Archer Harvinder Singh has won the bronze medal by defeating Sumin Kim of Korea. He won the match 6-5. For the first time in the history of the Paralympics, India has won a medal in archery. India has won 13 medals so far in the current Paralympics. India now has 2 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals. This is India’s best performance in the history of the Paralympics. In Rio Paralympics (2016), India won 4 medals including 2 golds. With this, India won the third medal on Friday. Earlier in the high jump, Praveen Kumar bagged a silver medal, while para shooter Avni Lakhera bagged a bronze medal.
