Jalandhar, July 11(STN)- Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal today said that the district administration has launched two flood relief vehicles to shift rescued people to safe places. He said that two cars has been assigned with the task to shift rescued people from village Mandala to relief centres. He shared the number of drivers namely Parminder Pal Singh (9814070171), and Sandip Singh (9815973543) and said that both of them would pick rescued people and shift them to relief centres.
The DC further stated that the Jalandhar Administration was duty bound to protect people from floods and no stone would be left unturned to achieve this task. He said that NDRF, SDRF and Army teams have been carrying out rescue mission in the affected villages while entire administration was camping on the frontline to assist people.
