Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election: Baga, Rinku Atwal and Rajinder Singh are in trouble regarding candidature from BJP, new big joining is also possible

Regarding the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election, the Congress had declared Karmjit Kaur, the wife of late MP Chaudhary Santokh, as the first candidate. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has made former Congress MLA Sushil Rinku a candidate for joining the party. On the other hand, Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) has fielded sitting MLA Banga Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi while playing safe.
In this episode, so far the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lagged behind in announcing its candidate. If sources are to be believed, the day retired DCP Rajinder Singh was made to join, he was being considered as a confirmed candidate. On the other hand, the day Inder Iqbal Atwal (former MLA) alias Rinku, son of former Punjab Assembly Speaker Charanjit Atwal, was made to join the party, he was being considered as a sure candidate. But in the midst of all this, sources are telling that Punjab chief Ashwini Sharma is adamant for his staunch soldier Rajesh Bahga.
On the other hand, according to the sources, some big joining is going to happen nowadays. The candidature for which has been withheld by the BJP High Command at present. Because BJP is hoisting the flag all over India. But now BJP wants to maintain its supremacy in Punjab also. And it wants to make its position firm regarding 2024 as well.
