JALANDHAR, JULY 23(STN)– Member Parliament Sushil Kumar Rinku called on Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal after taking oath in Lok Sabha in New Delhi. During the meeting, Mr. Kejriwal congratulated Sushil Rinku for his induction to this supreme body of Indian democracy and expressed his wishes that he would fulfill the aspirations of Punjabis by becoming their voice in the Lok Sabha.
Member Parliament Sushil Kumar Rinku presented a bouquet to his party chief and assured that he would make concerted efforts to implement Punjab Government’s pro-people and welfare programs in his parliamentary constituency in letter and spirit. He further stated that there are several issues of national importance which needs to be raised in the Parliament; hence he would accord top priority to take up such issues in the Lok Sabha so that important decisions from policy standpoint could be taken there.
Mr. Rinku stated that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has taken path-breaking initiatives to put the state on a high-growth trajectory, and he was personally monitoring the proper implementation of these welfare programs in his constituency.
