Jalandhar, 18 September(STN)- Sushil Kumar Rinku, Lok Sabha member from Jalandhar, made his statement in Parliament today and said that the struggle started by Aam Aadmi Party to protect the country’s constitution and democracy will continue. He said that it was in this very house that Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar had prepared the Constitution of the country and submitted it to the House.
He said that the contribution of Punjabis in the country’s freedom struggle can never be forgotten because people of Punjab had always came forward to make sacrifices for the country.
While addressing the house, MP Rinku said that this is not just the Parliament complex but the temple of democracy of the country in which great personalities of the country had made offerings. He can feel the presence of all those great people in this place. Aam Aadmi Party will continue its struggle to maintain this Constitution and democracy. MP Sushil Rinku kept his entire statement in Punjabi language only. He said that ‘Unity in Diversity’ is the basic mantra of the country which makes its democracy even stronger but attempts to divide the people of the country will not be tolerated at any cost and attempts to suppress democracy will always be countered.
