Adampur, 3 August(STN): Jalandhar-Adampur Police has arrested 4 dangerous gangsters. The police have also recovered weapons from the possession of the accused. 4 dreaded fugitive gangsters have been arrested during a joint operation by SI Manpreet Singh Police Station Adampur and Inspector Pushp Bali Crime Branch Jalandhar Dehat as part of the drive led by Police Officer Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, Dehat Police Officer Manpreet Singh Bhullar, Sub Division. Police have recovered 3 pistols .32 bore, 13 live rounds from the possession of the accused.
The accused have been identified as Kulwant Singh s/o Sarbjit Singh r/o Pashta, Amanpreet Singh s/o Paramjit Singh r/o Rehana Jattan, Sourav alias Gauri s/o Vijay Kumar r/o Rehana Jatt and one other accused has been arrested. Giving information about the case, police officer Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar said that on 30-7-2023 Mahavir Singh alias Koka s/o Tirlochan Singh resident of Damunda had informed the police that Kulwant Singh s/o Sarbjit Singh resident of village Pashta who is absconding. He along with his accomplices opened fire with the intention of killing Mahavir. During this, the accused also attacked with sharp weapons. On the basis of the statements of the victim, the police registered Case No. 104 dated 30-7-2023 in A/D 307, 323, 324, 34, B/D 25-54-59 Asla Act Police Station Adampur.
