Punjab government is committed to provide ease of doing business- CEO Invest Punjab

Jalandhar, August 25(STN):The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Invest Punjab DPS Kharbanda said that the state government was fully committed for facilitating the industrialists of the state by ensuring ease of doing business in the state.

Interacting with the industrialists here at DAC, the CEO said that the main aim of the Punjab government was to provide a conducive atmosphere where ease of doing business was ensured for them. He said that a single window system had been launched so that the industrialists could avail full benefits and get all facilities at this window smoothly.

Exhorting the industrialists to take full advantage of the investor friendly policies of the state government, Kharbanda said that all out efforts were being made by the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to ensure that the state was developed by giving a boost to the economy of the state.

The CEO Invest Punjab said that the Punjab Government committed to safeguarding rights of industrial units in the state. He assured the industrialists that the state government would leave no stone unturned to ensure that they were benefitted from its policy. He also exhorted the industrialists to avail maximum benefit from the new policy of the state government. He also sought their fulsome support to make the state a front-running industrial state in the country.

Kharbanda who is also Secretary Technical Education, said that new ITI courses and polytechnic diplomas would be initiated as per demands of local industrialists. He also asked them to give their valuable suggestions in this regard. He informed that 21 new courses were started in Ludhiana ITIs according to the needs of industrialists of the city.

Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal said the district administration was always available for the industrialists to solve their problems.

Prominent amongst those present in the meeting Director Industries Puneet Goyal, representatives of various industrialists’ associations including Jalandhar Industrial and Traders’ Association head Gursharan Singh, Focal Point Industrial Area President Narinder Sagoo, CII Jalandhar head Amrinder Singh Dhiman and others.
