Hoshiarpur: June 24 (STN) Union Minister of State Som Prakash had to face strong opposition from farmers in Hoshiarpur today. Som Prakash, who arrived to hold a press conference in the parliamentary constituency Hoshiarpur, was surrounded by an organization of farmers. So they returned without holding a press conference.
According to the information, Union Minister of State Som Prakash had called a press conference at Rest House in Hoshiarpur. Som Prakash was on his way to the rest house when a group of farmers surrounded him on the way. During this, the farmers shouted slogans against the central government.
Upon receiving the information, a large number of police force also reached the spot. The police tried to convince the farmers, but the farmers refused. Due to heavy protests, Union Minister of State Som Prakash had to return without a press conference. Let me tell you that BJP leaders are being surrounded all over Punjab over the farmers’ bill.
